Interested in pursuing a Bachelor's of Applied Arts and Science? Occupational Education holds information sessions throughout the year in San Marcos, San Antonio and Round Rock. We invite you to attend one of these sessions to see if this is the right program for you. Advisors will be on hand to answer your questions and provide additional information about the bachelor of applied arts and sciences program, life credit, credit by exam and other issues.
Barbara Wilson, Senior Lecturer, served as a judge at the Business Professionals
of America State Leadership Conference held at the Austin Convention Center on March 6th. Barbara also attended the Texas Lutheran University Senior DisāOrientation Dinner in Seguin on March 19th and served as an alumni representative to the graduating seniors considering a career in education.

Occupational Education held its Family Day in San Marcos on Saturday, April 18th. This is an event to help bring students and faculty together to be able forge new working relationships and a sense of academic community. Activities included a complimentary lunch, games, and door prizes. Aquarena Springs Park offered free guided educational tours and $4 glass bottom boat rides.
