Academic advising for current Texas State students at the RRHEC is handled by advisors and faculty members specific to the major. Academic advising for current ACC students is handled by ACC advisors. Please look below for the appropitate links:

Prospective Texas State Students

If you have not yet been officially accepted to Texas State University, please go to our Request for More Information page. One of our specialists will contact you, to help determine your next steps. For transcript evaluation, you will need to follow the application process by submitting your official transcripts to Texas State Admissions.

Current Texas State Students

All newly accepted Texas State students intending to pursue their degree primarily at the RRHEC are required to meet with an academic advisor at the RRHEC prior to registering for New Student Orientation. Texas State advisors meet with students on an appointment- only basis.

Contacting Advisors Directly

If you have already met with a Texas State advisor and need follow-up or have specific questions, you may contact your advisor directly. If you HAVE NOT previously met with an advisor at the RRHEC, please call to make an appointment. Due to their full schedules, the best way to initiate contact is via email. We encourage you to email your advisor first, then call if you do not receive a reply in a timely basis.
