If you have come to this page to begin prepping for New Student Orientation (NSO) at Texas State’s Round Rock Higher Education Center (RRHEC), you've come to the right place. And if you're a newly-admitted student (or anticipate becoming one), CONGRATULATIONS and welcome to the community of learners at Texas State!

All orientation dates have been scheduled in the evening for RRHEC students and attendance is required for transfer students entering in the fall, spring, or summer semesters.

Please check back around November for available dates for the Spring 2009 semester.

IMPORTANT: New Student Orientation sessions for the Fall 2008 semester have passed!! 

If you did not attend one of the New Student Orientation sessions at Round Rock or San Marcos that were held in June, July, or August this year and are interested in seeing if it is still possible to get started this Fall, please contact Kristi Rickman to determine your options (K_Rickman@txstate.edu or 512-716-4022).

All newly admitted Transfer Students for the Fall 2008 semester who plan to wait to start until 2009 or 2010 may update your admission file to be reprocessed for a future semester.  Please click on this link: Update Application to new semester (This page will allow you to indicate which college your plan to attend this Fall and also indicate a new semester to be reprocessed for).
