• One full recycling bin equals 17 trees saved
• Local involvement can help save landfill space and help clean up the environment
• Divert paper from local landfills (40% of everything in the landfills is paper products)

• catalogs (staples and paper clips are OK)

Please note: We can not recycle phone books, cardboard, plastic, glass, metals, trash, food cartons, juice boxes or tissue products.

• The paper we recycle at the RRHEC will be processed locally and delivered to the Austin American Statesman to print more newspapers.
• Be sure to bring in your newspapers to be recycled over and over again.

• We have a large yellow and green bin in the East parking lot toward the back of the building.
• There are also various containers located throughout the RRHEC.

• Bring paper products from home.
• Spread the word! Tell your family, friends and neighbors.
